These Picture Cube Puzzles have been designed for ease of use:

	Where body parts go is easy for most children over the age of three to work out. The head obviously goes at the top, feet at the bottom, shoulders just below the head etc.
	An icon boarder down both sides and matching background scenes makes it easy for kids to work out where those blocks go.
	Prototypes were taken to schools and tested on children to ensure they were both user friendly and fun.

Different uses at different ages

The way children play with these fantastic picture cube puzzles depends on their ages and their natures but generally we have found;

From about 3 to 6 children love making the 6 main pictures best of all. Younger children may require some help working out the picture puzzle to begin with, others seem to master the logic quicker than their parents. Children naturally want to read the words on them and find it easy to work out that if you make the Fireman the top word is "Red" and the bottom says "Fireman" and if they make the blue diver the top word says "Blue" and the bottom says "Diver" each written in blue...

Once you have mastered the six main pictures from the cube puzzle, start making mixed up people by turning the picture blocks over.

The older the child, the more mixed up they like the pictures and words to be. Teenagers particularly enjoy making very disjointed looking characters. Of course the fun game of mixing up the blocks with words and trying to pronounce the puzzle words, helps kids tremendously with their pronunciation and ability to sound out words. But don't tell them that, just ask them if they can tell you what a "Bleen Horsester" is? Then can they show you one? 

Another favorite activity of teenagers is to roll each picture cube like dice, then make up the picture that is on top. Totally random!
